Wellness can be full of noise; trends, fads, and bold claims with little backing. It's exhausting, and makes it hard to know what's actually worth your time and money.

That's why every product in the Freedom Wellness Co. range is chosen because the evidence supports it—assessed through the lens of over 25 years of physiotherapy and clinical Pilates experience.

If the science doesn't back it up, it doesn't make the cut. What's left is a range you can trust to do what it says—not for the length of a trend, but for as long as your body needs it.

New Zealand's home for wellness

Freedom Wellness Co. has been a long time coming.

It started with a simple belief: that every Kiwi deserves access to high quality movement and recovery, wherever they are. In 2017 that belief became Freedom Health, Christchurch's first large-format clinical Pilates and physiotherapy clinic, where we even designed our own reformers to ensure every client was moving safely and effectively.

By 2019 demand had outgrown the clinic walls, and Freedom Pilates was born: New Zealand's first independent nationwide retailer of Pilates equipment, with showrooms in Christchurch, Tauranga, and Auckland.

But selling reformers was only half the solution. We recognised a gap in the global home Pilates industry—one we couldn't see anyone filling.

A reformer on its own doesn't replace studio support and structure.

That's why, alongside our first range of reformers, we launched Freedom On Demand (at that stage Freedom @Home). And to this day, every reformer purchase comes with six months' free access to Freedom On Demand: expert-led classes, ongoing support, and community; because that's what creates results.

In 2025 we expanded the picture with Freedom Wellness: a complete recovery and self-care hub offering science-backed tools that help sore muscles rest and relax.

And in 2026 we brought it all together: one home for movement, heat, and recovery, backed by nearly a decade of experience helping New Zealanders feel better in their bodies.
