  • How long should I stay in an ice bath?

    Most experts recommend between 2 and 10 minutes, depending on your tolerance, experience, and goals. If you're new to ice baths, start small and build up your tolerance gradually. If you feel dizzy, turn pale, or your limbs go numb these are signs of excessive cold exposure.

    We recommend 2-3 sessions per week to promote muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and build cold tolerance without overstressing the body.

  • What are the ice bath dimensions?

    Our ice bath is 160cm long x 100cm wide x 70cm high. It holds approx 600 litres.

  • How do I keep the water clean between uses?

    Add a small amount of food-grade hydrogen peroxide or a purpose-made cold tub sanitiser between sessions. With solo daily use, a full water change every one to two weeks is typical. The quick-drain system makes this straightforward, and the rubber construction wipes down easily.

  • What makes the Freedom Ice Bath different from a cold shower or DIY setup?
